- The Tearaway jeans from Valabasas are crafted from a mid-blue stretch-denim blend that’s been heavily washed, whiskered, and sandblasted to achieve a lived-in, vintage-inspired look, with extensive deliberate distressing revealing gold-yellow underlays beneath shredded panels and subtle fading throughout. They sit at a low-rise waist and fasten with a branded button and zip fly beneath five embroidered belt loops, while the classic five-pocket layout includes two rounded front pockets with a coin pocket, and two patch pockets at the back—one of which is detailed with a tonal Valabasas logo patch. The fit is slim through the thigh before flaring abruptly into a 7 ¾” opening, accentuated by dramatic whiskering, knee-level abrasion, and a frayed hem that subtly dips at the back, balancing the rugged, deconstructed aesthetic with a retro-inspired silhouette.
